Wow! I am delightful. I just got an email from Sun Microsystems telling me I won the JavaOne Top Speaker Award.

It is such a great honor for Martin and I to win such a prestigious award for a tech session we did while we were both undergraduates! I know we spend days practicing the tech session, doing it with public or just a VCR and crying during the replay. But since English was our second tongue and I still have a strong French accent (at least some girls says it's cute) we thought we had to practice that much (even a bit more!).

I would like to thank the Sun Microsystems Canada staff for enduring our first practice and giving tons of feedbacks, the whole SONIA AUV team for their feedback on the 2nd, 3rd ... nth practices and producing some graphics for the talk, our technical session coach at JavaOne who taught us how to talk efficiently in a room and to everyone who attend our session! Eric, Arshan, Shana, Mary and everyone else at Sun Labs, thanks for everything you did throughout the conference.
